About University Kitchen

Located at 2004 N Main St, High Point, NC 27262, University Kitchen operates as an american restaurant serving High Point in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as italian restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–8:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (336) 991-5505. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, universitykitchen.net.

Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I’m not sure how this place only has 4.3 stars. Because it definitely deserves more. I was googling some places that would accommodate my family today for lunch. This place is great they have a nice variety. Plus the food is great and the portions are huge. I would definitely comeback again.

Came here for dinner with a couple friends and it turned out pretty good overall. The place has a laid back vibe, nothing too fancy but still nice enough to sit and relax. I ordered a burger and fries, and it was cooked just right, juicy and filling. Fries could’ve been a bit hotter but still tasted fine. Service was friendly, our server checked in just enough without being annoying. It did get a little loud as more people came in, but not a huge deal. Prices felt fair for what you get. I’d prob come back again sometime.
